Our Founder

Nik Lemieux

Strategic Consultant, CEO

I am an entrepreneur by nature and see value in all experiences. I founded Mirabel Management Inc. in 2014. My team and I strive to help our clients take control of their finances and work towards a prosperous future. I continue to enjoy shaping the future of Mirabel and overseeing the growth of our wonderful customer base. When I’m not in the office I love traveling, wine tastings and cross country skiing.

Mark Julian

Property Manager, RSE

I am a professional property manager who has been managing residential real estate in Ottawa since I acquired my first property in 2012. I'm a member of the International Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and an Accredited Residential Manager with the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC). In 2015 I earned my Red Seal in masonry working on the Parliament Hill Rehabilitation project where I held a position in quality control. My mission is to help real estate owners earn the highest return on their investments, and care for properties as if they were my own. In my spare time I enjoy dancing and archery.

Karen Fung

Office Manager

As a recent graduate of Aston University in the UK, I am thrilled to bring my master's degree in business administration to the team at Mirabel Management. As an administrative support professional, I am dedicated to ensuring the smooth and seamless operation of the company. My goal is to make a meaningful impact by utilizing my organizational abilities and attention to detail to support the management team. I am passionate about providing exceptional service and am committed to contributing to the company's overall success. In my free time, I enjoy staying current on business developments, socializing with friends, and hiking.

Laura Cole

Bookkeeper, Account Manager

I have 23 years experience with a Fortune 500 Company where I was an Operation Specialist, responsible for payroll and accounts payables. I am excited to be working with the Mirabel team as I believe in the values they espouse and the modern systems they have in place.  I love spending time with family and my new grandchildren.  I am a new golfer which takes a lot of patience.  I also quilt, knit, and love to travel.

Mitch Brennan

Cloud Accounting Specialist

I’m an MBA graduate with a background in Account and Project Management. Over the course of my career I’ve had the opportunity to support small businesses in capacities ranging from marketing, to banking, to bookkeeping and accounting. In my free time you’ll usually find me on the golf course, cheering on my favourite sports team, or chasing my goal of visiting 50 countries.

Tracey Dupuis

Bookkeeper, Account Manager

I am a relatively new Ontarian, coming from Calgary where I lived and raised my family for 30 years. I have been working in the Bookkeeping/Accounting profession for over 15 years. I am very excited to offer my expertise to Mirabel's clients and the Mirabel team as a whole. In my free time I love spending time with family, grandchildren, my three dogs, and gardening.

Tom Christie

Strategic Financial Leadership

I have a Master’s degree in Economics and began my career as a research co-ordinator in the public sector. As an Entrepreneur and CFO, I founded a multi-faceted organization that currently has 15 million in annual system sales. My consulting practice, based in Ottawa and Toronto, helps businesses modernize their accounting systems and strategically organize their resources to have real-time, actionable financial data at their fingertips. My wife and I are raising our young son in Ottawa, enjoying the outdoors as much as we can.

Jen Riddell

Administrative Coordinator

I specialize in account management, payroll services and account receivable, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our clients. I thrive on building strong relationships and streamlining processes to contribute to the overall success of the company. When I'm not working, I can be found at multiple studios around the city teaching different styles of Pilates. Outside of work and the studios, I love spending time with my family, enjoying discovering new restaurants or sipping on a crisp glass of wine.

Roxanne Simmons

Bookkeeper, Account Manager

I am a professional bookkeeper with over 15 years of experience working with small to medium sized businesses specializing in QuickBooks online and other cloud-based applications that integrate with QuickBooks. I enjoy working closely with clients on a monthly basis so they can rest easier knowing their books are in order. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 2 kids, going to the gym, reading, and paddle boarding.

Sarwar Qureshi

CPA, CA, LPA

I am a professional accountant who has worked in public accounting with small business owners and incorporated professionals for the last 10 years. I help business owners look after their corporate taxes, financial statements and aid in their tax planning. I teach part-time at Algonquin College and thoroughly enjoy educating students and clients about accounting. In my spare time I enjoy basketball and am involved in officiating across Canada at various levels of play.

Corey Roberts

CPA, CA

I have 15 years of experience in accounting and tax advisory. As a CPA, I provide strategic financial guidance to businesses and individuals. I have successfully completed the In-Depth Tax Course and can offer solid insights into tax planning, compliance and optimization strategies. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 kids, on the golf course or playing hockey.
